Box Canyon Dam

Box Canyon Dam opened in 1956 and sits on the Pend Oreille River in Northeast Washington State. It is located north of the small town of Ione, right on the International Selkirk Loop. This is a very interesting and somewhat seldom seen part of Washington. There are a long list of things to see there when you travel through the area and one of them is indeed Box Canyon Dam.
